The game’s story is about Yuel was only six years old when his mother died: put to death in a grisly public spectacle for her uncovered infidelity by her own husband, King Khalil. Yuel has carried the weight of his mother’s death around him for many years, and is no stranger to feelings of abandonment. Largely ignored by his mother, even during her life, and shunned by his powerful, megalomaniacal father, Yuel grows up bereft, lonely, and unhappy.

Developer Notes:
Idleness is a BL VN with a fairly large focus on lewd scenes. It depicts the steadily growing relationship between a couple of cousins who like one another a totally normal amount, I promise. The characters in Idleness first appeared in my previously released BxG VN, All Ashes and Illusions. Idleness is a ‘what-if’ spinoff of Ashes featuring the two main male characters, Yuel and Tavi, in a relationship. Ashes is rather grim in tone, but Idleness is far more light-hearted (and you can also read about Yuel and Tavi being cute and in love in a modern setting in Unluckily in Love too. Wow, how cool!) Idleness is more or less a nukige, so it isn’t suitable for anybody under 18. There’s some rather salacious content, but it contains a decent amount of tender moments too. If you want to read about handsome anime boys doing hentai things, then this might be the VN for you! Do check it out if you’re interested!
