OtB Games released a new game called Layla: Shattered Hopes and the version is Ep.1. The game’s story is about What’s This Game About? Layla is a young, ambitious yet flawed woman who deliberately moves to the big city to change her life. She’s no victim of circumstance—just someone willing to take risks. But the city doesn’t welcome her with open arms. Instead, it tests, tempts, and breaks her.​

In this game, I decided against using animations for two reasons:

1. Emotional impact. I believe photos convey more emotion than video. Even with today’s advanced video technology, photographs remain in high demand because they freeze decisive moments — those where time feels distilled into a single, perfect frame.

2. Optimization. The game’s file size would grow significantly, and since I plan to develop it over a long period, it could end up reaching absurdly large proportions by the end.
