Doshima Games released a new game called Manila Shaw: Blackmail’s Obsession Unofficial Ren’Py Port and the version is .038AE Captured. The game’s story is about This is a Ren’Py port of Manila Shaw: Blackmail’s Obsession The protagonist of my game is Manila Shaw, a policewoman who is respectful of the rules and very good at her job. She always has money problems and has struggling to pay the house rent. Manila’s police action in a convenience store will attract a mysterious man’s attention to her and this will change her life, throwing her into a world of corruption and deception.

To access the new content:

• Lose the fight against the soldiers in the motel (If you shot Mardok, losing the fight will result in a Game Over, so make sure you didn’t shoot him when Manila and Jason saved Grace)
• Lose the fight against Leo and Margot in the subway
• Lose the fight against the agent in the plane
• Sacrifice Jason (This option will trigger a different scene at the beginning of the ending, because Jason is dead)
• Lose the fight against the soldiers in the island, before meeting with Uncle Sam
• Losing almost every fight when going to fight Simon with Uncle Sam (some of them trigger a Game Over, just win that fight and then lose the next one)

Developer Notes:

I won’t answer any questions that are already answered on the Developer Notes! What will be different from the previous port made by Phalzyr? For starters, I decided to remove the points system, that means that you will not be locked out of any choice because you don’t have the minimum amount of Justice/Corruption points needed (I will still tell you if a choice is for the Justice or the Corruption path in case you want to go for a full Justice playthrough). This game will be variable based, meaning that every choice you make will influence in the story, just like the Original Game.

You can choose when do you want Manila to get pregnant, but be careful, because once Manila gets the baby bump, you will be locked out of the night events happening in those days (Strip Club, Underground Ring). Unfortunately, the game will not have a gallery because I don’t know how to make one, but if you know/have someone who knows how to make one, feel free to do it if you want! Converted all of the images from PNG to WEBP, that means that there’ll be a really huge reduction of disk space.
