MUGEN Hyper Edition [v1.3] By HyperK2

HyperK2 Games released a new game called MUGEN Hyper Edition and the version is 1.3. The game’s story is about an open source 2d fighting game platform where the character possibilities are ‘infinite’. WHY choose MUGEN HYPER EDITION? Custom edits, compatibility, playability. Developer Notes:

Unfortunately, I didn’t write down each and every change I made, and some of these changes have been made over quite a long time, so my memory is a little hazy. However, I’d like to highlight some of the changes I’ve made in at least a little more details.

First of all, I’ve assembled a collection of Kuromaru Press compatible characters and separated them into their own area for ease of access. Not only that but I’ve made some custom changes as well. Kuromaru Press and his characters are set up to use a ‘hypnosis’ system. However, every edit that I could find didn’t have any moves for this. I realized that the best version of Kuromaru Press that I could find actually does have a hypnosis gas attack, but it wasn’t implemented/usable. I have made this functional. I have also added complete Kuromaru Press compatibility from scratch to three characters: Remilia, Ruby and Es.

Secondly, in my experience, I’ve found that high quality aggressors are hard to come by. Many of them deal an overpowered amount of damage and could often lock characters into their grabs with no chance of escape. Some didn’t even have their erotic moves enabled for the AI. I’ve overhauled and balanced many of the aggressors to be a challenging, but possible encounter. I’ll try to recap what I can remember. Brian is already pretty good, but I made him grab more aggressively and more often. I increased birdies stun and lowered his damage, reduced time to cum, enabled AI to be able to struggle. Completely rebalanced/overhauled renamon to utilize the power gauge for his attacks in a nuanced way. Lowered the damage and allowed for escape/release from erotic attacks for all/most aggressors.

I’ve made it possible to play the arcade mode as either an aggressor or a victim character. By default, the arcade mode is set to playing as a victim. In order to change to aggressor mode, it while require a slight amount of leg work.

From the main folder, go to:

data/MMMBE/select.def

Open this in a text editor.

At the bottom you’ll see this. Swap the position of the ; depending on which mode you want. If the ; is in front of the top row, you will change it to playing as an aggressor mode.
