Developer Notes:
Q: What’s the difference between this new version and the old one? A: THE ELITES: New Blood, in many ways, is a completely new game. Everything, from the story, the renders, the character designs, and the UI have been remade in hopes of delivering a much more enjoyable experience. Q: Will it have different characters? A: The characters from the original game will be retained in this version, albeit with some alteration to their respective backstories. This is to fit the new narrative that I wish to tell. Their character models have also been redesigned to fix specific issues. With that said, entirely new characters are also added to this version.
Q: Why did you rework the game? A: As previously mentioned, the decision to completely overhaul the game was made in response to a combination of factors: feedback from players (mainly with animation lag), constructive criticism and advice from fellow game developers, and an honest self-reflection. Altogether, these reasons were all in the name of making a better game and delivering an improved experience to you, the players. This brand-new version is not perfect by any means, but I am very happy of the improvements and changes that were made. I promise to continue honing my skills in both render-creation and script-writing as we go along this journey. That’s it for now, and thank you for checking my game out!
