Summary

• It has been several hundred years since the last showdown of the “Shrine Maiden” and the “King of Yoka” which led to the Shrine Maiden sealing the King of Yokais at the cost of her life. Nowadays, yokais are rarely seen, and those who used special power to fight against yokais back in the days brought their talent to a new type of competition, the "Jinmu Festival," and competed against each other like celebrities.
• However, the King of Yokais never perished, and as its seal weakens day by day, the yokais hidden in the unmanned territory are starting to stir.
• Meanwhile, the Shrine Maiden in the current era, a girl named Rinne, has transferred to a school that specializes in cultivating Jinmu Festival players. While getting to know new companions and lovers here, Rinne will battle yokais and discover the secrets behind Shrine Maidens.
