About This Game
Hyperosa Studio released a new game called Another Side and the version is 0.1. The game’s story is about You left Redvale ten years ago. Now you’re back, moving into Helena’s house, starting university and reconnecting with people whose lives kept moving without you. Then the book your parents left behind starts reacting to you. A broken vase becomes your first encounter with magic, and a woman appearing in your dreams starts feeling a little too real.
Another Side is an adult visual novel with romance, a supernatural mystery and a light sandbox. Between the main story scenes, explore the available locations, spend time with the women you meet and start finding your place in Redvale. Familiar routines, awkward reunions and new relationships become tangled up with a world you’re only beginning to discover.

Developer Notes
Hey, I’m Fox, one of the two people making Another Side.
- My partner and I have wanted to make an adult game together for a long time. We wanted characters we’d enjoy spending time with and relationships that made the intimate moments feel like part of their stories.
- Another Side is still in development. We’re building the main story and the individual relationships over time, giving you more of Redvale and its people to discover. We’d love to hear which character or moment caught your attention.
About generative AI
- Generative AI is part of how the two of us make Another Side. Here’s where it fits into our process.
Visual art
- AI-generated images are part of our art workflow. I edit, composite and paint over assets where needed, adjusting things like expressions, poses and scene layouts so they fit the characters and the rest of the game. Consistency between scenes matters to us, and that often means going back and changing things.
Writing, dialogue and translation
- I write out what I want to happen in each scene, where the story is going and how the relationships should develop. Then I use AI to help clean up and revise the writing, dialogue and translations.
- And yes, a lot of that is fixing typos. I can barely spell in my own language, let alone the others.
Music and sound
- We ran into a lot of restrictions when looking for music we could use in an adult game, so we started generating our own music with AI. For sound effects, I use material from other sources and edit it to fit the scenes.
Code and implementation
- AI also helps with programming, troubleshooting and the development of our HTML engine and game systems. Putting those pieces together, testing them and revising how they work is part of our development process.
Why we use these tools
- For the two of us, AI makes a huge difference to how much we can get done. We estimate that the work we’ve done in around six months could have taken us three or four years without it.
- That gives us more room to try things, make changes and work toward the quality and consistency we want for Another Side.
Following development
- We share a development post each week on Patreon. Paid members receive preview builds one month before their public release.
- If you run into a problem, please tell us your platform and what was happening so we can look into it.
