- Settings Defaults: “Always Dash” and “Synch Monitor FPS” now default to On for new players.
- Fixes & Optimizations: Fixed Gabbie’s art, patched player state checks, and deployed massive stability fixes for Donna (chasing, escaping, and crashes).
- Debug Tool: Added a debug plugin (hold F6 to open the menu) which helps to clear images.
- Automatic Crash Logger: A background reporter that activates during a crash and reports the game state so any issues can be diagnosed and fixed for future updates.
A quick note on Donna’s chase system: Because I wanted to create a highly dynamic and reactive chase mechanic, I pushed the engine to its absolute limits, and after months of trial and error, I ran into some unavoidable engine scale limitations. Because of this, the system isn’t 100% perfect. If she ever gets stuck or acts up, you can call her back into the game from the Ritual Room (the bottom-left room of the mansion) or you can manually reset her using the F6 debug menu.
I might have missed a few updates, but I’ll make sure they are documented in the in-game changelog text and future updates. Thank you all again for the love and support!
