Cinnamon Switch Games released a new game called Coffee Buns and the version is 0.9.3. The game’s story is about Coffee Buns is an 18+ Transformation Visual Novel set after the events of Mice Tea. It’s been two years since since the worldwide release of Kemono Tea, which turns the people who drink it into anthropomorphic animals. Society is still adjusting to the idea of real-life furries, but that doesn’t mean you can skip your day-job. Leonardo Bianco is a barista at a struggling café. His boss feels like hopping on the furry train might be just the thing to attract customers to the floundering business. Via a connection at another local business (which some returning readers might recognize), Leo and his co-workers are offered a chance to try transforming themselves. The tea works as advertised, but for Leo, there’s more changes he didn’t anticipate.

New Art – New CGs from The Transformistress
- Mira supplied us with two new CGs, or more properly two CG sequences. She’s been looking forward to this flying date for the whole development, and we got to it just in time. There’s lots of alternates and stagings and even a little animations thanks to the inventiveness of Jess, our sprite wrangler, so please check it out!
New Art – More sprite elements and two new NPCs
- Building off the work he did for last release, KDhynamo has produced even more sprite variations for our cast, including another two-character sprite that appears in the story’s ending. There’s once again too much to show or mention every permeation, but here’s Boss in her hat and sunglasses and Leo knitting for a taste.t
- Also, we know ram shortages have been threating technology and games, but we got a hold of one so we’re all set now!
- We hope you’re as excited as we are to see this milestone come to pass, but there’s still more Coffee Buns to make, including adding voice acting, and we’ll keep you abreast of the final stages these last few months.
