unnie Games released a new game called Coffee Story and the version is 20260430v2. The game’s story is about Forced male to female transformation of the MC Experience a lewd dreamworld. Physical changes within a dream will potentially alter the character once the dream is over. Inspired by Yume Nikki, .flow, LSD Dream Emulator and some others.

Story
- – New cast of characters. These are secondary to the main cast and won’t be as prevalent.
- – Delinquents introduction. Triggered by walking through the courtyard after the Sleepover event.
- – Chuuni first contact. Triggers when passing the adjacent classroom, after Dreaming with Rin event.(The one that enables CatCat Cafe).
- – Assuming Sleepover and Dreaming with Rin are cleared, old saves should trigger them as well.
- – At hair length 7 there’s a story event that introduces the hair salon. Will need to sleep if hair is at 7 or 8 already.
- – ~650 lines of dialogue
Gameplay
- – Added a toggle shoes button. It still needs the outfit to actually have shoes, while in slot 2 or 3. Still wondering how to best handle that.
- – Changed clothing dummy background to dither, in order to improve visibility of darker outfits.
- – Added 5 new hairstyles. Available at the hair salon in the mall.
- – Added 2 ponytails as hair lengths. Available at the hair salon in the mall, when hair length is 7 and 8.
- – At the salon, you can cut hair down in length, change hairstyle, and recolor base and shadows.
- – Any changes at the salon change dream hair too.
- – Salon GUI has full mouse and keyboard support. You can drag the window around too.
- – Hair now grows in length every 7 days.
- – Dream hair now resets to real hair upon waking up. If dream hair is longer than real hair, real hair goes up 1 stage in length immediately.
- – Some sprite adjustments to hair, eye and breast sizes. Don’t panic if something looks different.
Important Bug
- Only load old version save files from the title screen. The load system doesn’t account for newly added variables(flags). These flags retains their value when you load a save that doesn’t have them. Example: You start freeplay mode, then load an old story mode save. The old story save will immediately give access to the hair salon, because that flag does not exist on the old save and it just copies the flag from freeplay. This makes the story event unavailable. It’s not that critical, but I’m sure some of you will do this. I have not figured out a solution to foolproof this without introducing a massive amount of save bloat. To clarify, if you load an old version save from the title screen, and then save the game, it’s now a proper up-to-date save.

The demo is a stand-alone game. Its purpose is to prove, test and showcase concepts/mechanics/visuals in a condensed area over a short period, prior to implementing them into to a more traditionally length game.
The demo covers 1 dream area, which consists of exploration, some light item puzzles, and 8-11 animated scenes. It’ll take 30-60 minutes to discover every outcome without any prior knowledge. The real world consists of the starting home, with some interact-able furniture and a clothing system. To start the dream, interact with the bed. - Mechanics
The below mechanics, while present, are redundant or only partially applicable due to the scope of the demo.
There are 4 stats: stamina, mind, body, will. These stats change through monster encounters, events or interactions with the environment. The core gameplay is to maintain a stat balance. When stamina is at 0 you are transported to the dream world. When stamina reaches 100+, you wake up.
Mind is your sanity. The lower it is, the weirder(lewder) the world becomes. Once depleted, you are transported to a nightmare event.
Body is you health. The game won’t have gameovers or bad ends, but I want to frustrate the player as much as possible for neglecting this.
Imagination serves as a special stat that will unlocks unique outcomes.
Currently, only stamina is used with the demo.
Clothing system:
A character has 3 clothing layers.
A single piece of clothing can consist of a top, a bottom, or both. Some pieces take up more than one layer slot, some pieces are restricted to specific layers (i.e skirts and dresses).
Currently fully utilized. - Art
There are no CG images. Only animated sprites. A human sprite is built of multiple interchangeable parts (i.e eyes, iris, hair, breasts, hips, clothing layers, color/shape/size etc), so everything is interchangeable in order to make unique characters and physical changes.
Coffee plays top down and is made in Game Maker 2. The target resolution is 1280×720, alt enter for full screen, while works, is not advised.
