Max003 released a new game called College Life Remake and the version is 0.3 Beta. The game’s story is about Based on the original game by MikeMasters, College Life Remake rebuilds the experience in Ren’Py as a visual novel with free exploration. Arrive at college, meet Jane, and discover the campus through branching conversations and choices.

This update expands both Jane’s and Kara’s stories, with new events, branching conversations, and relationship progression!
Jane
- Expanded conversations and improved friendship progression to reduce grinding.
- Added studying together and spending time watching TV in your room.
- Added the first gym session with Jane, including dialogue choices and a workout skill check.
- Added private conversations about her past and an appointment at the library.
- Added the library story event, with branching paths, different endings, and the opportunity to become best friends.
- Added switchable external and first-person views during the library animation.
Kara
- Added personal conversations about her favorite book and roommate.
- Added The Book of Change, including ordering, collecting, and gifting the book.
- Added the opportunity to become best friends during an evening visit to room 33.
- Added a private follow-up conversation about the book.
- Added further room visits, reviewing her notes, and kissing.
- Added Sunny Day: choose and purchase a sundress, collect picnic supplies, prepare the picnic, and surprise Kara.
- Added different gift reactions and outfit changes that carry over into later interactions.
Quests and other improvements
- Added A Fresh Start, Closer to Kara, Between the Lines, Workout Partner, Behind the Smile, and Sunny Day.
- Updated and improved the map, the park (day, afternoon, and evening), main hall, and the bus stop with more realistic and consistent visuals.
- Added clearer objectives to guide relationship progression.
- Added Kara’s friendship points to the phone.
- Updated Jane’s and Kara’s phone portraits automatically as their relationships progress.
- Removed Jane’s redundant phone-number request.
- Made positive friendship gains more consistent to reduce repetitive interactions.

Original assets are used wherever possible. AI tools assist with coding and may be used when necessary to generate missing images or upscale artwork, while aiming to preserve the original visual style.
