A note on structure
This update branches based on your previous choices. You’ll experience either the straight or queer path in a given playthrough, not both. They run parallel to each other, so if you’re wondering why you can’t access the other route, that’s intentional. I’ve added a Story Path Selector to the main menu to solve exactly that.
A note on save compatibility
Shortly before this release I discovered a bug that made old save files incompatible with this build. I spent a significant amount of time chasing what turned out to be an irreversible issue before accepting there was no clean fix.
The result is the Story Path Selector, a Quality-of-Life feature built to get you back into the story where v0.8 begins, without replaying everything from the beginning. It’s not a perfect substitute for your save, but it carries over the choices that matter and drops you straight into v0.8. Just answer a few quick questions about your previous playthrough and you’re back in business.
