Your three oldest friends are already drinking when your girlfriend Daisy comes down to play 21. She plays the hands. You stand behind her and call it — hit, stand, double, get up and walk away — and she decides whether to listen. Every round she loses ends in a dare, and the dares get worse with every round. Before the first card of each round, Marco puts a sheet of paper on the table with the ten ways that round can end, so you know what she is playing for. When the round is over the game stops and plays it out: the deal at the table, with Daisy and one of your friends face to face in front of you; the scene itself, with what she says and what they say over it; and what it leaves behind.
Marco wrote the rules of this game on a card back in high school. The card has one more line than the ones he reads out loud. The full game — a season of six nights, one cash box that only goes down, rounds four to six, 60 dares that each play out as a scene, 10 animated kitchen scenes and four endings — is out for patrons now, and it comes to this thread, free, in two weeks.
