Story

• The 21st century, the present day—
• The protagonist, Hedede Tomoru (辺出トモル), has just started working in the Western-style mansion of the Tenma family, the wealthiest household in the area.
• Normally, all of his classmates would be attending an academy, but Tomoru skipped further education and became a live-in servant at the Tenma estate.
• It’s not that he lacked the academic ability.
• He simply had circumstances that forced him to work there—and it wasn’t his fault. It was because of something his parents had done in the past…
• However, he doesn’t consider his own situation unfortunate.
• ” Pitiful? Is it, really…? I don’t think of myself as pitiful, you know.”
• In times like these, he has a proper job and a place to live. He figures that alone is enough.
• Of course, Tenma Ichi’iro, the head of the Tenma household, is quite harsh with him—
• Honestly, it seems like he’s disliked—but even so, he’s more than happy.
• The housekeeper Seijo is scary, the butlers are lively, and above all, young lady Seishirou is kind.
• If young lady Yuria were here too, it would be even more fun, he supposes.
• Seishirou’s older sister, young lady Yuria, has been mysteriously missing for a month now.
• One such day, an event occurs that will change Tomoru’s life.
• Just like Mephistopheles, a devil with a pointed tail appears and demands a contract. It says it will grant a wish in exchange for his soul.
• But Tomoru is not Dr. Faust.
• That voice. That gaze.
• It must be the person he always sees.
• Tomoru stares at the devil and asks:
• “Young lady Seishirou… isn’t that you?”
