Andolt Games released a new game called Life’s Gate and the version is 0.2. The game’s story is about Life’s Gate follows a young man whose normal life begins to fracture when he discovers a strange power connected to life, death, and the people closest to him. What begins as a cold warning in his chest soon becomes something he can no longer dismiss, a sign that something is wrong before anyone else can see it. At first, he tries to explain it away. Once the people he loves are caught in the middle of it, ignoring the truth is no longer an option.
But power never comes for free. Every choice leaves a mark. Every answer raises new questions. And as pieces of a buried truth begin to surface, he is drawn into a mystery involving Writers, Painters, the Origins, and the Gates between Life… Death… and what waits beyond them. To protect the people he loves, he must uncover the truth behind his power and decide how much of himself he is willing to sacrifice before there is nothing left to give. For those who come after: This is a very story heavy game. If you looking for a game filled with sexual contents, this game is not for you.
IMPORTANT:
I expected 0.1 saves to be broken, but to my surprise, everything seems to work fine.
The only issue is that the game doesn’t recognize two dialogue lines right now. And honestly, they are fairly important.
So if you played 0.1 and already passed the painting choice scene, I recommend replaying that scene, and everything should be fine after that.
