New Genesis Games released a new game called New Genesis and the version is 0.1.0. The game’s story is about New Genesis, a near-futuristic world where a mutation misteriously appeared one day, affecting only woman and turning them into powerful supernatural power wielders. These woman are called Espers. Despite it being a rare condition, for only 1 every 20.000 woman are born with this power, the rest of the population feared them. So men began developing a technology which they called “replacements”. As the name suggests, they replaced parts of them, like the limbs and the eyes, for better, mechanical parts and used that to battle and practically enslave the woman who carried the abilities of an Esper.
Years later, right when men thought they had won and had the situation under control, a newer, deadlier thread appeared again out of nowhere. The Nephil. The Nephil are humanoid monsters of unknown origin. Unlike an Esper, who’s at the end of the day, still a human, the Nephil aren’t something you can negotiate with. They destroy, they kill, they corrupt. And they’re very good at it. So when this happened, men had to put some of the differences they had with Espers apart and form some kind of “uneven alliance” where they would form two military corps that would work together to defend earth against Nephil invasions.
These corps are the Corpus Machina and the Valkyr. A new sort of world united government was formed, this was the birth of D.O.G.M.A. With the passing time, D.O.G.M.A. has taken more and more power and control, even over the Corpus Machina and Valkyr military. For every passing year the frequency of the so called “Nephil Events” has only increased. We incarnate the MC of the game, a young guy who’s tragic loss has driven him to become a Corpus Machina recruit, to battle the Nephil and subdue the remaining rogue Espers, but He’ll soon find out that reality is often quite complicated.
