PumperFull released a new game called Pale Jungle and the version is 0.1. The game’s story is about This is an ongoing, lore heavy story encompassing a Nuclear Post-Apocalyptic Dystopian World helplessly plagued by long and sporadically extreme cold winters. The land is sparse of vegetation due to the long winters. Existing trees grow steadily during the summer along with a small variety of plants that have survived these harsh times. Thankfully, there are a few places that where deserts before the apocalypse that offer a little warmer temperature. This is where the people of this land have migrated to, keeping the faith that the “Higher Powers
will allow some time for the world to warm itself. In the mean time some of the “Higher Educated” (Called the Hi-Eds) people try to research many different ideals to aid the sparse population’s pains of living in this time and place. Extended Premise People have adapted somewhat to these colder conditions by reinventing ways to heat their homes and workplaces. Adaptation has been an absolute must because there are winter storms that drop the temperature to extreme cold. With the chill fore-going minus 60 Degrees Celsius, people have constructed large open steel framed area Heat Generators to heat multiple homes near by.
These generators use different kinds of “fuel” like; coal, wood, alcohol and even big steam boiler systems have been constructed in the more “thriving” villages. But steam and alcohol heat are not overly common with smaller villages. Homes are mainly constructed from crude wood but are coupled with scrap metal panels if there were other ruined buildings near that were scavenged from, like old factories, if the factory was deemed useless.
