Neon Night Time Games released a new game called Pies & Apples and the version is 0.6.0. The game’s story is about Marta(41yo) is a simple housewife who, from time to time, hires temporary workers to do small repairs and collect apples, the fruit she sells to support the income of the house where she lives with her daughter Stacey. Rocky (18yo), and Jennifer(18yo), are two young people who met at Marta’s house. Both were hired temporarily to do small day-to-day jobs,

Version 0.6.0 is the last version with a linear passage, therefore:
1. Old saves will not work!
a). In order for saves to be able to save all the parameters that were not originally included in RPG Maker (for example, our individual inventory system, gallery, etc.), we improved the code for saving progress. Without this, the player would not be able to save their progress correctly.
b). We changed a lot in the system and various little things (added/removed), so that in the future we would not have problems with continuing the storyline. Well… We have a lot of creative ideas that are not in RPG Maker by default.
c). We removed some heavy conflicting plugins, replacing them with our own, so the system functionality began to
work a little differently, as we needed. This is the base on which we will build the continuation of the plot.
d). Some things, status, etc. are automatically added at the very beginning of the game.
e). We revised the system for obtaining statuses. Now any status of any character can be not only increased but also decreased.
f). Added a gallery. As you understand, in order for all scenes, etc. to appear in the gallery, you need to see them again.
2. Languages.
The game is currently in 5 languages ??and it took some effort to put it all in order (there is a lot of text). But from time to time, errors occur, for example:
a). You play in English, but you come across a phrase in another language.
b). Due to lack of time (we are doing translation at the very end of development), we were unable to add a full translation for some languages.
At the moment, it is recommended to play in English or Russian!
We have an excellent solution to these problems, but we will not risk time and will do it in 0.6.0, so in 0.7.0 such problems will disappear.
3. In 0.6.0, you can just play to get acquainted with new functions, characters, locations, etc. but the real game will start after the linear passage (from the very end of 0.6.0). To fully complete the game, we need a combat system. We already have a ready base, but for full completion we still need to work on this. We also need to add more images in those moments where it is necessary.
Therefore, in version 0.7.0, the emphasis will be on continuing the plot, images and the combat system.
Also, version 0.7.0 will be the first full version, without changes and with properly working saves.
What’s new:
- Changed and added new icons.
- Added new sprites.
- Added new portraits.
- Changed some old portraits.
- Added more emotions to portraits.
- Added a photo.
- Added 4 new quests.
- Added a system of character states:
- 1. Human,
- 2. Anthro,
- 3. Futa,
- 4. Roxy (because Rocky’s transformation does not affect anthro).
- Added transformation skills. As the story progresses, characters will be able to instantly transform into any of the three forms if they learn to control the transformation.
- Key quests are now color-coded.
- Changed skill menu (removed all unnecessary and changed image).
- Slightly expanded and improved the beginning of the game, so that the player could better understand who Rocky is and what time the events in the game take place.
- Changed the name of some classes.
- Added key and common items to the inventory.
- Changed the quest “Call of the Road”. Now Stacy does not have a knife in the kitchen. She must find another item in another place.
- Added the mini-game “Arm Wrestling”.
- Martha’s Guestbook is available again and updated.
- Several new plugins have been written and old ones have been updated/improved.
- Added many new NPCs (key and common).
- New locations on the world map have been opened:
- Swamp Forest,
- Old Mill,
- Kelly’s Cliff.
- Added new locations:
- All rooms in the Old Mill, except for the rooms on the second floor.
- Steam room in the Cherry Blossom.
- Laverna’s house (outside and the room with the balcony).
- Cassandra’s house (outside).
- Some old locations have been updated.
- Floating clouds and shadows for character and direction icons have been added to the world map.
- Continued the main storyline.
- Some quests have been slightly continued.
- Added a gallery:
- Now the player will not miss anything if he/she remembers to save. All cells are in order from the beginning of the game. If the player sees that the previous cell is not open, it means:
- 1. The player chose a different plot twist,
- 2. The player missed something.
- What’s included:
- 1. Static images.
- 2. Scrolling images,
- 3. Key sprite scenes with animation.
- 4. Some simple oops scenes.
- 5. Trophies:
- Photos,
- Underwear,
- Vinyl records.
- All scenes are looped until the player presses cancel.
- Some scenes are slightly modified (system capabilities are not unlimited), so they show the scene but a little differently. Consider this additional content. Decided by player voting.
- At the moment, content has been added to the gallery simply to familiarize players with the functionality of the gallery, so not all moments have been added.
- Now the project has a native translator into English and the entire translation has been remade from scratch.
Bugs (fixed in 0.7.0):
1. Martha’s puddle is not visible.
Solution:
When approaching the place where there should be a puddle, DO NOT STAND THERE but stand IN FRONT of that place
and USE THE MOUSE CONTROL, NOT THE KEYBOARD!
2. Some text is displayed in code.
3. When exiting the gallery to a location, the gallery music may continue.
Solution:
Transition to another location.
For Android:
- We decided to release the Android version for the first time to check how the game would work, but at that time we couldn’t test it ourselves and we didn’t have time for it. And unfortunately, the Android version has a very serious bug that doesn’t allow you to complete version 0.6.0. The bug appears after the cave with the orc. But the gameplay of 0.6.0 is much longer.
The solution at the moment:
1. Install the JoyPlay emulator on your device,
2. Download the Windows version of the game,
3. Run it in the emulator.

This game shows an absolutaly fictional world inhabited by people and other races, monsters and various creatures In this story, our characters (and not only) constantly find themselves in different situations (again – for adults!). Funny, silly, dangerous, incidents, waiting for them at almost every step. Pies & Apples will immerse you in a world full of unusual characters, beauty, eroticism, softness, missions, danger, mystery, combats with different types of creatures, rewards and much more.
