Pride

• The Pride boss fight is now essentially complete and has been expanded from the previous 1-phase version into a full 3 phase fight.

• Phase 1 Pride now has an additional attack involving her shield pieces
• Phase 2: Ascent Survive the ascent together with Pride.
• Phase 3 The final combat phase now has a full attack rotation with several new attacks.

• Pride’s shield can also now be damaged by attacking her entire hitbox, rather than only hitting the shield directly.
• Pride’s level also has a new temporary music theme (I got tired of hearing the previous one every. time. I started the level :D)

Player

• Player can now perform a 3-hit combo when attacking in the air

Player can now parry in the air

• Attacking in the air now gives more directional control
• Coyote time has been added
• Jump buffering has been added

Fixes and adjustments

• Lise’s dialogue no longer skips when talking to her after giving her a gift
• Further cleanup has been added to help prevent lag
• Fixed an issue causing the player to not exit H-animation after dying
• Further prevention has been implemented to avoid long-term lag
• Backspace no longer restarts the game. This is now locked behind debug
• Entering the climbing state is no longer possible while the game is paused
• Ladders can no longer be jumped off of without first climbing
• Liber Umbrarum now always spawns next to the player after respawning and room transitions
• Bosses, currently Pride and Wrath, no longer deal contact damage to the player and only deal damage through attacks
• Fixed an issue causing the player to sometimes die when parrying the Infernal Minotaur enemy
• Fixed an issue causing enemies to rapidly swap direction every frame when directly above or below the player
• Names in dialogue windows now display larger
• Liber Umbrarum no longer respawns with speech bubbles active
• Implemented a fix to ensure enemies respawn when loading a save after having killed enemies
• Main menu now has a ‘title screen’ that fades into the main menu
• Age verification screen can now be closed with controller -Discord link added to main menu
