Stellar: A Space Adventure [v0.1] By Rat Slayer Studios

About me:

I’m a no one who wanted to name himself just Rat Slayer, and since it was taken, I had to put “Studios” at the end. I decided to create this visual novel because I believe it’s the best way to tell a story, and I had this story in mind for a long time. I’m not an artist, so I mostly used AI to generate images to use as textures (or for the presentation cards, to give them a more classic, stylized anime style) inside the game. For example, I couldn’t find a good astronaut asset, so I just added one in post with AI.

It took me some time to actually sit down and write the story itself up to the end of the prologue, as well as learn how to create the characters and the renders. But overall, it has been a fun experience, since I’ve always had the itch to see what goes into making a video game and wanted to try it out. It’s the first game I make so if there are any problems with the Itch io page or the game itself please have patience with me.
