Q: What platforms will the game be available on? Where will it be released?
A: PC only. As for releases, builds will be available on supporter sites. When the game reaches a certain level of polish, we plan to release it on Steam.
Q: Which characters will be available?
A: We will begin with Darcy, Pelo, and Alexis, with Eva following right after. We plan to have the entire cast added in due time, but the order of their addition is yet to be decided. Unique characters like faculty, for example, are planned, but we will be focusing on the core characters everyone is familiar with.
Q: Will the art be unique to the game or will it use previously made artwork?
A: All art and animations will be unique. Characters will also have outfits and appearances exclusive to the game. We plan to offer a fair variety in appearances for characters.
Q: What sort of customization options will be available for the player character?
A: Players can name their character, and there will be a few options for skin tone. The more options available, the trickier it is to implement into rigging and animation, so we are aiming to keep customization as limited as possible.
Q: Who will we play as? Male or Female?
A: The player will play as a male, but hidden scenes might be possible with certain characters.
Q: What is the game’s art direction?
A: The art will be done in Andava’s traditional fashion and animated in Live2D by L3.
Q: Will the game be linear or nonlinear?
A: The story will be linear, but there will be flexibility in which characters you can interact with. Not everything will be available at once, and many interactions will become available through story progression, affection with characters, and hidden triggers.
Q: Will this have stat-raising/time management aspects?
A: Players will use their time within a day to interact with characters and progress the story. As certain progress is made, the timeline will move forward via terms and years. The main stat we plan to feature will be affection between each individual.
Q: Will there be missable paths, failure states, etc., through our choices?
A: There will certainly be missable paths. There will not be an overall failure state, but the player can certainly ‘fail’ scenarios based on choices.
Q: Will there be any special events for holidays and such?
A: Absolutely.
Q: How long will the game be in development?
A: As of now, there is no set timeline, but we estimate at the very least 4 years of production.
Q: What sort of kinks can be expected?
A: Kinks will be included, but the game will not be centered around featuring kinks. Players can expect content that the characters have been drawn in from past artwork.
Q: What will the length of the game be?
A: Undetermined for the time being. Story length for each character will vary widely.
Q: How much will be animated and how much will be stills?
A: All characters will be animated. Stills will only be placeholders until rigs and animations are complete. Rest assured, all NSFW scenes will be fully animated.
Q: Will there be audio and voice acting in the game?
A: Voice acting will be limited to promotional work (ads and character intros) and special events (NSFW scenes). Audio will be present but will come along later down the pipeline as other features are ironed out.
Q: Will there be any type of rewards for donating?
A: Early access to builds, access to Discord, behind-the-scenes work, being featured in the credits, polls, and more. We will adjust and expand the rewards as we progress in development.
Q: Will the game feature guest characters?
A: We will be focusing on Andava’s main cast of characters. We hope to add guest OCs, but it is not a promise.
Q: Are there any positions available or assistance that can be provided?
A: For the time being, we are keeping the team size low. As development progresses and new parts of the pipeline open up, we will bring people on board as needed.
Q: What languages will be available?
A: English.
Q: What happens if new girls get introduced during the game’s production?
A: I fight Andava.
