Story
On his way home, the protagonist, Hayato Kikuchi, comes across a girl who has run into the road while chasing a cat. A truck comes barreling toward them at tremendous speed, and Hayato hurriedly dives into the road to save the girl and the cat. “Look out!!” Thud!!
The girl and cat are saved, but Hayato suffers severe compound fractures in both arms, leaving him with a six-month recovery period. Just when Hayato finds himself in this desperate situation, the girl whose life he saved, Airi Kusunoki, appears before him. To his surprise, Airi says that she’ll take care of everything he needs in his daily life. “It’s okay! I’ll take care of everything for you!!”
Hayato is too bewildered by how suddenly everything has happened to fully process the situation, but he’s overwhelmed by Airi’s sheer forcefulness, and an unusual life of being cared for begins.
