IV18Gauge released a new game called To My Wife Somewhere in This World and the version is 1.0. The game’s story is about Eleven years ago, May Ichinose (then 17 years old) was arrested for attempted murder. Her target was Luka Tajima—the man who took her beloved father’s life in a drunk driving crash fifteen years earlier. The punishment handed down to him was a mere three years of imprisonment: an insultingly light sentence.
Seeing that Tajima showed not a shred of remorse, May ambushed him with an army knife on the day of his release from prison. However, prison guards quickly subdued her, leaving her goal unfulfilled. Attorney Yuji Ichinose gently urged her to give up on revenge, but May’s resolve was unwavering. Wanting to protect her, Yuji looked after May as her guarantor following the incident, and married her the year she turned twenty.
As a lawyer’s wife, May embraced a wealthy and glamorous life. Yuji was convinced that she had long forgotten about such bloody thoughts of vengeance. Until one day, May suddenly vanishes. Sometime later, her handbag and smartphone are discovered in the restroom of a business hotel. Left with only these clues, Yuji begins investigating the smartphone to uncover the truth of what happened to his wife.
