Xim Games released a new game called Within the Branches and the version is Act 1 0.2.1. The game’s story is about It’s a peaceful life, for those who worship Kaya, around the base of the great tree. The holy lands provide great abundance to the faithful. Great abundance for the good, chaste people of Fanora, under the wise and benevolent guidance of the church. Nothing truly bad could ever happen in such a place… Right

Couple new pictures or modified/custom assets. Some images are actual porn, but the porn images are bad quality because I used perchance to generate them. Let me know if you think fading to black is a better choice than using low-quality images, I want your opinion.
3 new sex scenes (noncon, prostitution) Might remove them if it gets me in trouble with itch, pretty sure it’s fine as per their rules, but who knows after the visa/mastercard scandal.
Minor story progression
Explanation/tutorial for stats, time, and a couple other things. Starts at the end of the post-prologue dream sequence (the one with Adana). Pretty short, easy to skip through quickly.
New mechanics:
Debug item.
Minigames/QTE.
Daily weather system (under development).
Crafting system (under development).
Fixes:
Reinstated missing text in Act 1 dream sequence 1.
Some minor graphical issues, shadows out of place, wrong flag on terrain tile, that sort of thing.
Typos.
Changes:
Minor dialogue changes.
Remastered several images, replacing some of the more awkward ones. Also Ardina, and especially Abby should look like the same person across all images now, or much closer to it at the very least. More remasters to come in future updates. Let me know if any images look misaligned.
Developer Notes
This game is very text-based, and there are no erotic images, only text. If you don’t like reading, this isn’t for you. The prologue is relatively tame compared to what’s to come, I hope you’ll stay with me for this… journey.
