Aphrodite Games released a new game called X-Change™ Life and the version is 0.25. The game’s story is about is a daily life Twine RPG based in a universe where it’s normal to take over-the-counter, gender-swapping pills that last 24 hours (or more).

- Your house is now fully=explorable in the morning rather than forcing you to do chores. Lots of events are chained together, and actions consume time rather than railroading you into certain things.
- New nanobot store in the mall where you can join a breeding competition
- Sex with girls overhaul, mechanics based, lots more content with the bar girls
- Sex with guys overhaul, new spanking mechanics
- Online version only: new “Beta Blockers” in-game censorship that disallows all female nudity and pixellates it! (idk why I find that hot, it’s mainly experimental)
- Implemented 50+ community suggested features, many of which are quality-of-life but some of which are full new scenes and variants
- New bank & stocks system. You can now take out loans! If you go into debt, you’ll need to repay it with your body. Things that happen in-game will affect companies’ stocks – the market is completely reactive.
- Overhauled Volleyball, and the ability to bring Alexia to the beach. New sex scene if you two lose against your male opponents
- The office job has been overhauled to be much more dynamic and fun. You now are on a leaderboard against your colleagues, and the sales process has gained a BUNCH of new mechanics. Tooltips will explain everything!
- Secretary gameplay expansion – typing affirmations, new Hailey content
- New relationship browser to manage your relationships with NPCs (and block them, if you wanna get rid of a guy)
- New stepdad sex scenes & on-ramps, new Purple Pill variants and content
- Added 2000+ new character portraits to reflect your hairstyle and makeup
- NPCs now have outfit preferences, and will gift you outfits, and expect you to wear them around them
- Added: do your nails. Complete nails system where you can buy products and paint your nails various ways. This factors into the presentation system, is totally optional. But say, if you have long glossy pink nails, the game will see you as a bit more of a bimbo, etc. You can make your own custom designs!
- Sperm defense overhaul – you can now upgrade your bots, and its just way more fun!
- Outfit Planner / Shopping / Beauty Overhaul – Smarter outfit selection, planner filters, bonus filters, tag labels, outfit carryover fixes, NPC guy outfit preferences, attraction from outfit matching, laundry-gated outfit bonuses, Bonwit Teller upgrades, thrift shop, handbags, maternity/household flows, makeup/nails improvements, and a large combo portrait/look asset expansion.
- Presentation / Appearance System – Big global “how you read to the world” system: professionalism, sluttiness, cuteness, classiness, style, face/body/outfit/makeup/handbag/hair signals, outfit text, compatibility hooks, and shared outfit context. This powers mirror/dossier/Looksy/NPC reactions instead of every scene guessing independently. This makes the game MUCH MORE INTELLIGENT at reading how you’re presenting yourself. NPCs can tell if you look like a bimbo, or look like you’re uncomfortable in your current outfit, or look professional. It’s incredibly deep and dynamic.
- Looksy: an in-game OnlyFans career path – take selfies and build a following in-game, just watch out because your audience may try to corrupt you This feature currently requires a local LLM (or can connect to openrouter), because you post captions with your posts, and you get comments you can check the next day! This is my first experiment with LLM stuff so just know it will get refined over time. My goal is to make something that ACTUALLY takes advantage of LLM tech without costing users money. The mechanics and gameplay of Looksy are all managed by X-Change Life’s actual code, only the initial interpretation of your post’s caption and the online comments are done via LLM. There are two primary LLM components – the tagger and the commenter, with a safety layer of code in between to ensure it can’t be cheesed . Your mileage will vary based on the quality of model used, but the game mechanics should stay pretty much exactly the same.
- Alexia is much less annoying and behaves more dynamically. Dozens of additional mini-scenes and variations on her behavior
- Expanded pregnancy seens on repeat pregnancy
- Lots of new branches / content in gym sex scenes
- New game engine – X-Lowe (our reimplementation of Harlowe), lots of performance improvements and optimizations
- Upgraded Blockbuster & shopfront interfaces
- New story content prep – the Museum of Anything Goes has been implemented but currently disabled. If you want to visit the museum, you can enable it in the cheat menu – its a fully-featured huge museum with 5 different wings and TONS of lore. Just see this as the in-game lorebook
- Relationship browser (Slambook) at home computer
- Lots of new outfits
- New penis / pussy renders based on your character’s skin tone, dick size, etc!
- New character creation interface
- New cafeteria area at work
- Configurable per-pill spiking menu

This game is still in an early stage of development, as I am still building out the core game mechanics. That said, there are already a large number of scenes to try out, although some are tricky to find. Go to the tip jar in the cafe for hints!
X-Change™ Life is a daily life RPG based in a universe where it’s normal to take over-the-counter gender swapping pills that last 24 hours (or more). The game features heavily minigame-driven gameplay to determine passing / failing checks at different points. You’ll always have the option to skip minigames by using a “skill check”, where your % success chance is driven by your character’s stats/skills. I really enjoy gamifying sex actions, and prefer sex to feel more “interactive” rather than a slideshow or a wall of text as in most Twine-based games. So, I am just making what I personally enjoy the most, but your mileage may vary. The game is slightly limited by what is possible to write in Twine, but I think you will be pleasantly surprised if you allow yourself to get into it.
