The game’s story is about Elijah, a half-dhampir born into the demon-exorcising Cushing family, was destined to become a supernatural hunter, inheriting the sacred heirloom knife known as “Beginning.” But lacking conviction and faith, he turned away from his legacy and lived a carefree life—until a mysterious fire engulfed their home one night, forcing Elijah and his brother Thane to flee to the border country of Japan in their father’s small boat.
